Went out last night with a good friend of mine. The fish'n was absolutly on fire. We had a terrific night. Fished til 3 am. I had 8 keepers and one LM a little over 5 lbs. My buddie had 12 keepers and had a LM that weighed 5 lb 14 oz. He also had a big SM that probably went at least 5 get off just out of reach of the net. I prbably need to go the NINJA'S school of netting and might have got that fish. We mainly fished main lake points close to the channel with stumps or brush which seemed to be the key last night. Jigs and craws is what they wanted. They wanted the craws right after dark but as it got later they changed and wanted the jigs. Jigs is all the 3 big fish came on. Our biggest 5 was 18 to 20 lbs. I've got to say that was one of the better trips I've had this year.

Good catch, I would like to fish that lake, I hunt there from now until Dec, use to put in some where on the riight before you go across dam, we would put in there go to the right and after about 1 mile we would go to the right bank and that's called Pike's Ridge, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Pikes ridge has some great hnuting, My buddies Wife ( thanks to me) killed a 156 inch typical 12 pointer there 11 years ago her 1st buck. Anyway I ahve fish there maybe 20 minb while waiting on my buddies to get out of the mountains and even then I caught fish. Let me know if you need someone to tag along to Green river lake sometiems?

wow that is some nice fishing is that a big lake or a small lake.

Its not a great big lake probably a lot like melton hill just not as shallow. It also has real nice walley, monster muskie in it when you can find them. Not to mention the good LM and SM fish'n.
