Fished below patrick henry dam a little after they turned the generators off this evening . Caught 2 browns and 4 rainbows, 17 inches biggest one, on white roostertail. A lot of small ones breaking under the bridge.

was you wading or was you fishing from the bank. I havent fished down there in a while.

Fished off bank from bridge up to concrete wall at dam. Hadn't been since last year. Several people using bait catching a few. I was there about an hour.

Could you tell what they where hittin on top water. I think the sulfers are still active on the river there. Me and the wife went Sunday afternoon and got only one on roosters.

I don't know what they were feeding on. Big trout should be spawning down there. I catch bigger trout when they are generating right up against the dam with heavy spoons out in the boils.

Really, I will try that next time we go. Any certain spoon or size.
