Nope, I'm fine. And none of the flies we threw all day(mine or Randys..."BrownBass") worked. We were hoping to get a few tips on where to head when we got there to talk with everyone, but everyone had already headed out by the time we got there. Needless to say, I won't be making that 2 1/2hr drive/ride again anytime soon.

I feel the same way, we called to let everyone know we were a little behind, but evidenly that didn't matter. I understand everyone wanted to start fishing , but I thouhgt this was more of a g2g and share some info and ideas not a fishing Tx. At least that's what it felt like, we pull in and everyone is gone, if I'd known that we would have stayed and went to Norris. I assume we were going to hang out for a while at least tell 8 or later and everyone meet each other and introduce ourselves but apparnetly not. After $75.00 gas for the truck and $30 for the boat and $105.00 later, nope not again Oh well that will be my last g2g. Thanks 371V for meeting us after, glad I got to meet you and I'll try and look you up early spring if you have time to go with me. Any problem with the TM let me know.

Bubba, call me and we'll try Norris..

Thanks, Snoot. It was a bad experience to say the least. Anyway crap happens I guess.

Oh yea I remember where I seen you use to work in the coal mines, well old feller I'm right there with ya. 5 years under ground from shuttle car driver to roof bolter.

You run a miner right, then you'll know what I'm talking about, How many coal "bumps: did you hit and how far back did it kick ya. ohmy.gif and how would you like to go back to a section in about 20" coal as there "robbin" it.. NO WAY.

That's one place I never want to go back to. Some people I meet here at my work don't know how good that have it, especailly the young'uns. Let them go under ground for about 3 weeks in 18" coal and 12 inches of water and grim. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. That would make these young'uns appreicate what they got a lot more.
