What kind of prop do you guys think I need ? I have a 17'7" War Egle 754 with a Yamaha T50 . My current prop is a 14X11 and my WOT is 5100rpm's . I am going to purchase a spare prop and thought some of you may know of a better set up than I currenetly have . etnfishing/scratch.gif

Thanks guys

I don't know alot about your setup and probably shouldn't even be commenting but, the first thing i'd do is figure out what the wot rpm's are supposed to be for that engine. My uneducated guess would be 5000-5500 rpms, so you are probably about right there. If you step up to say a 14x13 or 13x13 you may lose a little on hole shot but gain a little on top end. On smaller boats especially if you are carrying a heavy load I like the 4blade props. I've got an older stick steer boat 16' with a 75 Johnson that I put a 13x17 4blade on and its not the fas-*test*-('") prop I could use but no matter what you load the boat with it shoots out of the hole.
