I have been going through the gills for as long as I can remember to remove deep hooks. It is secod nature for me now. I decided I was going to have to learn it when I realized just how many fish got gut hooked on C-Rigs which is a rig I use quite often. I always make sure I have wet hands when handling any fish regardless of how they are hooked but especially on gut hooked ones where I plan on going through the gills after a hook..... etnfishing/worthy.gif etnfishing/worthy.gif good article for sure etnfishing/worthy.gif etnfishing/worthy.gif etnfishing/worthy.gif
