Why in the world is bass fisherman not giving each other the respect they deserve but they are out there giving bass fisherman a bad name they are pulling on top of each other (within 50 yards) but they should be further away if you are going to a spot and see someone sitting on it go somewhere else don't pull on top of it that guy will leave sometime and I'm sure he didn't catch all the fish. Sorry I just had to vent alittle bit. Bass fisherman stop giving yourself a bad name Money is the evil of all things it's not worth it yes it's nice to have so we can go out and buy extra toys but why destroy a good thing so give the respect to each other like you would like to be respected to.

I agree, Some people can be so in-considerate. Even non-tourney fishers. Had one pull right up on top of us saturday actually. mad.gif

There are a few big name local tournament fisherman that will dang near ram their boat into you if you are on "their" hole. That makes me so mad I could spit nails. We all pay our license fees and many of us help with other conservation efforts. The common sense rule should be whoever is there first fishes first. Thats why our boats have such big fuel tanks.

I remember when I had my first boat. A 16' jon. People would totally cut me off, wash me ashore, and not even act like I existed. I felt that it was because I had a $1400 and I was 21 years old. It wasn't a bright shiny 25' SS VSX XL PRO TR-5000 Super Duper Bass Catching Machine with a "special built racing engine" that would push it 97 MPH. laugh.gif

Weird thing is, I've never caught a bass going 97 MPH. etnfishing/scratch.gif

Hmmm..... that sounds like a pretty sweet rig nowadays, LOL. Wonder where I can get one????

Believe you me, I know how you felt and more! Only thing i've got right now is a 12' Jon wacko.gif They always have to find the few coves that I can access with my boat with my lil TM, and they HAVE to fish it.

Stuff like that goes on up my way (Canadian waters) as well Buzz. Some folks think they own certain spots on the water.

Should I even mention seadoos dry.gif

BrownBass- 12-05-2007
The dang jet skies, I hate them no true fisherman should own a jet ski etnfishing/poke.gif etnfishing/poke.gif biggrin.gif .... I have had them run over me fishing the breaks plenty of times and run the fish back down, I have even tried to snag a few with a big Spook or better yet a 2oz egg sinker and no hook. You can cast that thing like a rocket and when it hits there rig they always stop and try and figure out what just happen so I've been told. I would never do that... But I have wanted too.

Never cared for jet skis either I would like to hit them with some big trebles myself but the dang things cost to much no to lose it in a jet skier with no respect

I guess a gentleman would ask if they minded giving you more space. After that, I'd consider dropping a few of those BIG waterproof firecrackers around the area, and politely move on. If someone is going to run me off, they can have it! biggrin.gif
