went today from 830 till 12. caught five the first couple of hours then nothing the rest of the day except a trout. caught 4 on a long A and one on a x-rap. 4 of the fish came off the same point. all fish were about 15". was beginning to wonder if i was catching the same fish over and over. i can't seem to find those better fish that 3715 and xpressman are finding. what kind of structure are you guys fishing?

I've been catchin' fish on all different types of points and some bluffs..... You can still catch a few of those smaller fish schoolin' in the open water..... Thanks for the report. I'm goin' to try to get up there one afternoon this week.

thanks for the tips guys.... i guess i'm just going to have to learn the lake more. one thing i found is unlike boone, the fish on soho will stay on a consistant pattern for longer. normally on boone you have to change tactics daily or sometimes within a single day. seems like fish always move alot on that lake. patterns for me only last a day or two on boone, then its back to the drawing board!

Glad you got some fish. Can you still launch from OB NOB? What is the lowest water level that you can still launce for there. Need to come up and do some looking around and some fishing.
Thanks

postalbass- 12-19-2007
cant help you Z-91, i've only fished soho twice and launced at 421 both times. don't even know where that is, i'm sure someone will let you know though. sorry

shane- 12-19-2007
The only place I know you can launch from is the 421 bridge. The last I heard, you could launch from Washington Cty park. But, it looked iffy when we ran past Wash. Cty. I would recommend you launch from the 421 bridge.

Yea, OB nob has been high and dry for months

Z-91- 12-21-2007
I'll have to look at a map but I think that is just down from OB NOb ain't it?

371V- 12-21-2007
Yea 421 is not a mile or so below ob knob.... It's the best place to launch anyway.
