Got boat out of shop and got to go fishin . Wife and I went to Wautaga side from Wingdeer up . Didnt even crank big motor and caught 3 lost 2 on top water and shakey head greenpumkin only one keeper . Fished shade they moved water from 3:00 till 6:00 all was during that time . Went up in river lots of bait just no fish . Tournment started around 7.00 boat came by us and hit a log it was just under the water ripped motor off of his boat it just about fliped . It scared him to death and my wife and I to. Everybody was okay I pulled him back to the dock . So everybody be careful that was no fun

Yeah thats not good, glad everybody was ok. you gotta watch running up river, or anywhere on Boone for that matter. i was out there saturday night. It was rough to say the least, about 1,000,000,000 boats on the water. Most of em are drunk idiots with boats that belong in the ocean. Its a wonder there aren't boat wrecks out there every weekend.

Wow that's rough. I was out there Saturday night as well, really I guess it was Sunday morning. I fished from about 3am to 5am under Devault bridge at Winged Deer Park with a Rat-l-trap without getting a single hit. I moved to my friends boat dock at 5am, where I dropped a bobber in with the intention of kind of just keeping an eye on it while I fished for bass with a floating rapala but the bluegill were hitting so fast that I did not get much bass fishing in. Something was hitting all over the top of the water for probably a good hour from 6:30 to 7:30, maybe a little later, but I could not get them to hit my floating Rapala.

I think that will be my last time on boone intill cold weather . It had been along time since I had been out there its change alot!!!!!

ya its changed its the most pressured lake in east tn.
