This has been a subject that has seldom been touched on so thought I would ask ya'll a question and see what kind of response I get in return. Every company brags that their soft plastics float great. Ok you all have fished soft baits at one time or another and if your like me when you change baits you throw the old ones in the floor of the boat in a corner. Many many anglers take the old ones off the hook and pitch it in the lake and I know that for a fact cause I have seen them do it and even the Pros do it. I fished with guys that do it. Other baits are lost when a fish pulls the bait off the hook.
Ok now given the amount of fishing pressure most every lake in this country has how many folks actually see that many baits floating in or on the water while trolling and fishing? If that many companies baits actually float with all of the fishing pressure on the lakes how come the surface of all the lakes don't look like rainbows of colors everywhere and you don't see them floating all over the lakes?.........   |
